We are now at a stage where nearly 70% of our customerbase is connected via the BT 21CN network, which allows in many cases allows higher speed services, pushing lines higher to a new max ceiling limit between 20Mbps and 24Mbps (depending on technology/hardware mixes and line length/conditions).
All lines by default are moved over as an ADSL1 product presently to ensure no hardware conflicts for those without ADSL+ hardware. All customers who have been moved over have been sent an invite to upgrade to ADSL2+
However, we have noticed that less than 25% of customers have responded to the upgrades, which leaves for many a chance of not currently taking advantage of higher speeds. We feel that more customers do use routers/modems that support ADSL2+.
We are therefore in the process of checking ever single line and once again sending out invites to help push our general customerbase onto the next level of service. This is a process we know will take a while, however if you receive one, do give consideration of the improvements that can be gained.
